What is Deersarejerks?
In the late summer of 2017, I was walking in the woods. On this path, I came across a buck about 100 yards away. The size and presence reminded me of an entity that knew its purpose past the present moment. It looked me in the eyes with grace long enough to stop my thoughts. All I could do was feel. The deer didn't move, and Deersarejerks was born.
We are all artists. Growth comes from thoughtful self-exploration and challenging the norms in oneself and society. These pieces are the product of that journey. I have been focusing on collage as the medium. Enjoy.
